Get ready, ghouls and goblins, downtown Oshawa is turning delightfully spooky for one night only during the Oshawa Halloween Boo Bash 2026 free event! 🎃
Join us for a frightfully fun 2nd Halloween bash packed with pumpkins, costumes, music, vendors, and eerie surprises around every corner, literally!
Bring the whole family for a night of not-too-scary thrills and ghostly good times!
(NO actors are in the space between 1pm-3pm for those more sensitive to the spooky stuff!)

It's challenging to balance between people with sensitivities to scares both young and old and those who are looking for a little more fright in their night. To appeal to both, we'll have NO SCARE ACTORS in the Scare Zones between 1PM - 3PM.

SPOOKY ACTIVATIONS
It's a street party like no other! Meet Krampus and dance in the street to the eerie beats of SQUID LID!
Krampus arrives at 3pm. More sensitive guests can check out Krampus's Lair from 1pm-3pm when there will be NO ACTORS
Stroll down Victoria Lane and come face-to-face with 6 larger-than-life scarecrows created by local area artists. Be sure to take lots of pictures and tag us.
More Ghoulish than Girlish. More Spooky than Sparkly. More Ghastly than Glam. Get ready for something you haven't seen from Vital! Circus yet.
Halloween comes to life with unexpected encounters with our creepy roaming cosplayers! Starting at 3PM.
Back by popular demand our resident exorcist comes face-to-face with the possessed. Will he release the demon or will the demon possess more innocent souls?
Watch out as our prison guards roll out a fully custom-built electric chair featuring atmospheric lights, realistic sound effects, and chilling smoke. Catch our theatrical cosplayers putting on a hair-raising performance, or step up if you dare, to sit in the chair.
She sick and tired of, well, pretty much everyone! Lottie is out of the trailer park and roaming the Boo Bash streets.
When you hear the bells, you may want to run the other way when Sickie Dee is in the neighbourhood. Frozen Treats so delicious... they'll make you sick!
PUMPKIN DECORATING WITH ALEXIS
1PM - 3PM At the front of Victoria Lane, next to the Regent Theatre.
Hang out with Alexis and learn techniques for decorating your own pumpkin using markers, paint, jewels and more! Pumpkins are provided. Great for all ages, but adults can join in on the fun too! Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
*Limited supply of pumpkins. First-come-first-served.
DOWNTOWN TRICK OR TREATING
Bring your trick or treat bag... local downtown Oshawa businesses are getting in on the Halloween fun with a little trick-or-treating. Stoll downtown Oshawa and keep your eyes open for a Boo Bash poster in their window. Don't forget to bring your treat bag.
DROP OFF YOUR LETTER TO KRAMPUS
Plead your case. Explain yourself. Convince Krampus why you shouldn’t be getting a visit this year. Address your envelope to:
