Cosplay — Artist Terms & Conditions
By joining the official cosplay group, you agree to the following spooky fine print:
🪓 1. Costume Conduct
All costumes must be appropriate for a public, all-ages event. Excessive gore, explicit content, hate symbols, or offensive material will not be permitted. Boo Bash reserves the right to request modifications or removal from the event if necessary.
🧱 2. Visibility and Safety
Costumes must allow for safe mobility and reasonable visibility. Stilts, oversized builds, or obstructive elements must be disclosed in advance and approved by event organizers.
🔥 3. Props and Weapons
Prop weapons are permitted only if they are clearly fake and non-functional. No real weapons of any kind are allowed. All props must be peace-bonded or inspected if requested, prior to the start of the event.
👻 4. Behaviour Expectations
Cosplayers are expected to interact respectfully with guests. No physical contact, aggressive behaviour, or intentional harassment is permitted. “Scaring” must remain playful and consensual. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS TO BE CONSUMED PRIOR TO, OR DURING THE EVENT. IF YOU ARE FOUND TO BE 'EFFECTED' BY EITHER, YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM THE EVENT.
📸 5. Photography and Media
By participating, you grant Boo Bash and its partners permission to photograph and film your likeness for promotional and marketing use without compensation.
🏆 6. Event Direction
Cosplayers must follow all instructions from event staff, including zone placement, roaming boundaries, and scheduled appearances.
🧹 7. Liability
Participants assume all personal risk related to costume wear, mobility, and participation. Boo Bash is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
🕸️ 8. Attendance Commitment
Accepted cosplayers are expected to attend for their confirmed time slot. If you can no longer attend, 5 days advance notice must be provided.
