Costume Guidelines

Oshawa Halloween Boo Bash reserves the right to deny attendance or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other visitors. Costumes/props that are not appropriate for the event—and which may result in refusal of admittance—includes but is not limited to:

  • Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics

  • Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment

  • Clothing with multiple layers is subject to search by security throughout the event space and duration

  • Objectionable tattoos

  • Any costume and/or prop that includes profanity, objectionable iconography or graphics

  • Absolutely NO real weapons of any kind! Bringing these to the event will result in immediate removal by security

Very large costumes, props or realistic looking weapons must be approved prior to visiting the event in an effort to ensure no damage is done to any of Oshawa Halloween Boo Bash displays or to other attending visitors.

All pre-approval requests can be sent to chris@citrusmedia.com.

This year, we're supporting Simcoe Hall Settlement House. We humbly ask, if you can, please bring a non-perishable food item and/or hygiene items (such as toothpaste, soap, baby wipes) and/or new unwrapped (Christmas) toy to our designated donation drop off point because need is a very scary thing! Thank you.
